We’re thrilled you’re here. These terms explain how you can use Monthscapes, what you can expect from us, and what we kindly expect from you.
We’ve kept it human, simple, and transparent. No endless legal jargon.
1. Who we are
Monthscapes (“Monthscapes”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a company based in Norway that helps you turn your photos into beautifully printed photo books.

2. Accepting these terms
By creating an account, uploading your photos, or using our website or app, you’re agreeing to these Terms of Service.
If you don’t agree, that’s totally okay, but please don’t use Monthscapes.
3. What we do
Monthscapes helps you easily upload your photos monthly and turn them into an annual photo book you can preview, order, and receive by mail.
Details like pricing, delivery times, and how many photos you can include are always shown clearly when you sign up or subscribe.
4. Your account
To use Monthscapes, you’ll need an account.
Here’s the deal:
You must be at least 18 years old.
Keep your password private and secure.
You’re responsible for any activity under your account.
You can delete your account anytime by emailing privacy@monthscapes.com.
5. Your photos & content
Your photos are always yours. We just make them into something tangible.
By uploading them to Monthscapes, you grant us permission (a limited license) to store, process, and print your images so we can make your photo books.
We’ll never use your images for ads or share them with anyone else.
Please only upload photos you own or have rights to. If you upload copyrighted or unlawful material, that’s on you, not us.
6. Payments & subscriptions
Here’s how payments work:
All transactions are handled securely by our payment provider (we don’t store your card details).
If you’re on a subscription, it renews automatically each month until you cancel.
You can cancel anytime, and you’ll still receive any photo books you’ve already paid for.
All prices include Norwegian taxes (MVA) unless otherwise stated.
7. Delivery & printing
We partner with trusted printers and shippers to deliver your photo books.
Printing times and delivery vary based on location, you’ll see the details at checkout.
8. Refunds & replacements
If your book arrives damaged or with a printing issue, email us within 14 days of receiving it.
We’ll gladly replace it or refund you.
Because each book is custom-made just for you, we can’t offer refunds for personal taste changes (like layout or image choices).
9. Acceptable use
Please don’t use Monthscapes to upload or share anything illegal, hateful, explicit, or that violates someone else’s rights.
If that happens, we might have to suspend or delete your account, but honestly, we’d rather never have to.
10. Privacy & data
Your privacy means the world to us.

11. Service updates
We’re always improving Monthscapes, adding new features, fixing bugs, or refining designs.
Sometimes that means we’ll change or discontinue parts of the service, but we’ll always do our best to communicate important updates clearly.
12. Limitation of liability
We work hard to keep Monthscapes running smoothly, but technology isn’t perfect.
We can’t be held responsible for indirect losses (like lost profits or data) resulting from your use of the service, as allowed by law.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by Norwegian law, and any disputes will be handled by Norwegian courts.
That said, our goal is always to work things out with kindness and clarity first.
